MRC Series

Magneto-Rheological Fluid Solution

CK Materials Lab enhances MR damper manufactures with the world best Magneto-Rheological Fluid (MRF).
MRC Series is a premium Magneto-Rheological Fluid (MRF) solution which outstands in vibration control and thus brings strong shock-resistance to the MR dampers for vehicles (cars, bikes, trains, etc.), large bridges and earthquake-resistant construction.

Material

MAGNETO-RHEOLOGICAL FLUID

Magneto-Rheological Fluid (MRF) is one of the smart materials controlled by an external magnetic field generated from the induced current. Composed of oil, magnetic particles and various functional additives (thixotropic agent, thickener, surfactant, anti-wear agent, etc.), MRF creates strong resistance as the magnetic particles in the oil array towards the direction of the applied magnetic field and form a chain structure, while they stay free as a fluid itself without any magnetic field applied. Due to its strong resistance, it can be applied into various systems in need of controlling external shocks such as vibration.

Technology

MAGNETO-RHEOLOGICAL FLUID SOLUTION

MRC Series is the world best Magneto-Rheological Fluid (MRF) solution generated from the unique formulation technology of CK Materials Lab. Applying the optimized formulation of oil, magnetic particles and various functional additives (thixotropic agent, thickener, surfactant, anti-wear agent, etc.), MRC Series is proven to improve the key features of MRF such as yield stress, viscosity, sedimentation stability, wear resistance, thixotropy and thermal stability.

Product

MRC SERIES

MRC Series Magneto-Rheological Fluid (MRF) solution is composed of MRC-CxL Series model and MRC-CxR series. MRC-CxL series such as MRC-C1L which is optimized for MR damper system applied to vehicle suspension, and MRC-CxR series such as MRC-C1R which is specialized in rotary torque transmitting device and brake system. Also, CK Materials Lab manufactures and supplies custom-made MRF.
